Kids' E-learning

Well, as the blog title indicates, this blog is to share of the web and computer resources that are useful for kids learning. Nowsaday, kids could have access to the computer and the net at very young age and we could use that to an advantage for kids' learning. There are many applications/games avaiable targetting at kid's learning, there are even more internet based sites there are useful for learning as well. I'll blog on them as it goes, probably once I go through them and get my kids try on them. This blog will be updated along the way, including this very first post.

To start off, below are two nice sites for various kid's learning skill: http://www.dreambox.com/ - a very good kids' math's site, learning it at gaming style! http://www.e-learningforkids.org/index.html - it contains various learnings including science, maths, health, etc! Besides, Google, youtube could also provide very good source for learning. Kids sometime come across word that they do not understand, if it is a noun, what better than an image? Simply google them and click on the image. For instance, "aeroplane", try it and you will see it is very interesting to see some many different picture of "aeroplane" and the learning would be fun. Of course, google could also get the dictionary style of the definition easily, by simple use this 'define:keyword', replace the keyword with the word you intended to know in your search. Youtube contain various video, some could be very educational. To learn english, simply look for title like "Gogo's English Adventure". To know how to make coin, simply search for it there as well.

I started the blog so that I could share it with my brothers, literally. Then hopefully whoever visited the blog, could share their resource as well, in turn I'd make them part of the blog contents
